@kingcoach13 It's not a bp clip? Watch game clips of Dimaggio. He loads those three inches. Three inches is a load whether you like it or not. Everybody in the major league level has some sort of load. Period. If you want to argue that major leaguers don't have the most efficient swings, take that up with Albert Pujols and let me know how far that gets you.
@ChainGang220 1st of all,it's bp.just 3 f---in' inches.in the game clips, NONE WHATSOEVER. he's so fast to the ball, i defy you to find any windup or load whatsoever.smells to me like you like pissing contests about nothing.fact:loading & windup at the amateur or minor league level is self-defeating.it's strictly for the strongest of the strong,which you ain't dimaggio.hopefully,you'll get smarter as you get older.otherwise, you'll be in the ground before you figure it out.
@ChainGang220 watch joltin+joe+dimagio.mp4. there ain't no damn movement whatsoever..just wham!!if you look at this clip, & tell me he's loading, i am done arguing with YOU.
@ChainGang220 look at the vids,buddy.youtube joe dimaggio+slow+motion+swing.mov very little movement pre-pitch release..wham!look at paul molitor.NO movement whatsoever.the point:loading ain't necessary!go to baseball mechanics_hank+aaron swing.in bp,he winds up.but in hank aaron tribute,game conditions,minimal loading
@08WSChamps there is no wrong or right,only the most logical way to maximize batspeed.it's not a negotiation.think in terms of whether an action makes you bat faster. if so, use it.if no, lose it.individual style & preference,"everyone has their own way" is what kills waytoomany players.what makes your bat go fastest is what is going to make you better.the rest, of no importance.realize what is important,forget subjective individual style.BATSPEED makes you best.once you get it..
@08WSChamps negative movement is self-sabotaging.think about it.you go back then forth.all in less than .40 of a second.you lessen the chance of arriving on time.also smells to me like you're not identifying & using the source of your greatest power:the biggest bone & biggest muscle on that bone:your back leg/hip. crouch slightly,straighten your leg,drive forward,generate greatest body mass at the ball.let your stronger lower 1/2 torque your arms/shoulders to the ball.keep hands in
@DuggerSports by your own admission,it's difficult to execute the timing properly.so instead of making it more difficult for yourself, why not keep it as simple as possible & eliminate it entirely? smells to me like that would have a better end result. after all,it's not required. watch molitor,di maggio.they were stock still, went rightstraightatit.the simpler you keep it,the less chance of getting it wrong..right?
@DuggerSports well said!the smartest thing he did was get on top of the plate & let the ball come to him.he narrowed his range of chances,didn't chase bad pitches,since he was perfectly located to hit any pitch in the K zone,he didn't need to do much except keep his hands in & rip.the simple mechanics along with superior strength did the rest.simpler is easier,& better.that's where many players kill themselves late to the ball.all ya gotta do is be lined up correctly,rip it
@kingcoach13 If you're telling me Joe Dimaggio doesn't load I'm done arguing with you. You know nothing about baseball, and also you're comparing statistics that have no comparison. There are so many variables that affect batting average that cause the decrease you're talking about.

@kingcoach13 He does load. Dimaggio moves his hands back at least 3 inches. That's a load. Good game, bro.
