How exactly do you rotoscope in SynFig? I'm having an extremely hard time putting my hand on top of an effect. Any help would be appreciated.

@trumpetdood When you have a vector shape (wiki.synfig.org/wiki/Doc:Creating_Shapes) in synfig, you can animate it's points and corresponding bezier line.
