@ThomasMetal75 I suppose that's all how you interpret it. I for one, think the left hand is more of the "rider" in this groove. All in all, they asked for rideless, he showed them this, and he got a huge paycheck.

Isn't the high floor tom @ 2:05 still technically riding?

Tommy Igoe is a wonderful drummer and instructor! He did a clinic at one of my local music stores and I met him, such a down to earth guy and funny too!
-
@sabadoadrianovich the ending of the second song? it's basically a fast little solo part on the toms and snare abruptly ending with a crash cymbal... not every ending has a special name... theoretically there are infinite ways to end a song... you can't all name em :D best thing would be if you show the drummer this video... that should make it clear.
-
what is the name of this kind of ending? if i talk whit a drummer, how i have to tell him Correctly that i want this closing in the song?
-
Now the Organ is simply perfect.
-
I only dont know if the piano sounds africa!...>>...
-
Did anyone else notice that he used his sticks backwards?
-
insane drummer, hes no dancer though haha :P

I wonder how lessons would be with Tommy . . .
Phenomenal groove. Incredible teacher. It's like he's talking to YOU and not just talking about "hit this and do this". I love that connection to the material!

AHHH!!! Genius. That soft PERFECT double time roll on snare at 4:57 kills me! I must have replayed that 100 times. Exactly in the pocket, perfect volume, smooth as glass. Damn it.
