hehe, seems like ur strings are damn thin, like 8s , try it with 10s or 11s , much better tone :) but still good job on the solo.

i use 0.12 to play jazz on my epiphone custom white les paul, but on this ibanez it's better to use 0.9 because of the tremolo bar, i've tried 0.10 once but the tremolo bar was much harder to use because of the increased tension of the strings, so i changed back to 0.9 and i'm sure it's the better choice, go check what strings steve vai and satriani use, you'll see they use 0.9. And by the way, 0.11 it's not a good choice if you want to do overbends like slash ;)

@Pedrofarol18 ye, 11s is really hard for fast bends and overbends. But Slash uses 11s, he must have really strong fingers to do that :). But i understand now why you have 9s on your ibanez , never had any floyd rose type guitars so im smarter now. But for me 10s are optimal for slash/guns/velvet stuff :)

slash can bend 0.11 not just because he has strong fingers but also because he always plays with his guitar tuned down a half-step and that decreases the tension in the strings and so it's like bending a 0.10 hehe it's a very nice way to keep the nice melow tone of the 0.11s but still be able to bend easily ;)
