although this song is is about skateboarding, the message is for everyone. if you find something you love and are good at, pursue it. no matter what anyone says. skateboarding just happens to be the most hated thing these days, but i skate, and honestly its not the easiest thing, id like to see someone who trash talks skating even try to stand on one.

You know most people don't realize this song is about selling drugs and the dealers behind him in the background?
He "pushes bricks", "on the grind", starts out with small "tricks" or "deals", but he got caught by the cops "skating" in public, and later moved onto bigger and better drugs and met some chick that loved for his money, and all that shit.
