are you crazy??? this is a dutch grandmaster of mastermixes! he has a major, major mixingtable in his studio with hundreds of channels.. he is famous for al his yearmixes and colaborations with popstars..sorry...c'mon 2 turntables? be serious man..

@Meowbay so some of the splices on the reel are last min added samples after the whole thing was done. i kinda figured it was done live to tape and than edits after. unlike todays computer edits that can be done before the final is made. but still it is like seeing the edits is better to see than just hear.
any chance you can post more of the edited mixes on here or also make flac for all the classic mixes? i got the 3 in flac, but the rest in ogg. thanks

ok i am curious on how you did these. im guessing you did the standard 2 turntables a mixer and made the mix, but than edited out or added in clips from other tape. reason i ask is because i see and hear the same song with other clips over laid and the beats match. so how do you edit the tape? or did you do a left channel track and 2nd pass on the right channel and than just cut and paste the whole mix? i know it would have taken a long time to do this so accurately and the final mix is amazing.

@vinyljunkie76 We always used an in between master for this. So basically how it went was:
2, sometimes 3, turntables in the mixer recorded onto high-speed cassette-tape master (this wasn't your average cassette-deck, but a hacked deck running at 3 times the normal speed and with pitch-control, we were cassette-gurus back in the day, before we started using StudeRevoxes..). That master went through the mixer with processing (sometimes more added tracks etc.) and that signal is what you see cut.

You can find out via the tracklisting, check the link in the description. You probably mean "Burn It Up" by Beatmasters featuring P.P. Arnold, but it's mixed with something else..
