This is one of those 'I wish!' moments for me; I can imagine it being the most memorable experience one could have. If I could find the courage to leave that long and funds, I would definitely apply. But, you never know.. :)

I hope to see you all in Gloucester MA again soon.

I went to the Picton Castle's website and saw the destinations of the 5th world voyage..so interesting, what an adventure! I wish I could go but alas, it's just not the right time in my life :( I've been interested in the Picton Castle since reading Rigel Crockett's "Fair Winds and Plenty of It." ) I highly recommend the book, it's great! :)

We're so excited for the next world voyage! Captain Moreland has announced that World Voyage 5 will be his last circumnavigation voyage in command, so if you want to make this trip, we encourage you to do it now. Thanks for checking out our voyage!

The full 14-month voyage around the world is USD$46,000, or you can sail on a three-month leg of the voyage for USD$14,000. The price tag looks big, but it includes everything except getting yourself to and from the ship plus any money you spend on your time off ashore.
Many of our trainee crew members have commented that this is the best money they ever spent, that they can't put a value on a once in a lifetime adventure. This truly is a unique way to see the world!

It sounds cheesy to say, but most people who have sailed with us describe this as the experience of a lifetime. There's nothing else that can compare to sailing into a new port and having earned your way there. The places we visit are tropical and magical, the ship will become your home and the crew your family. We'd be happy to set you up to talk with some of our former crew who will tell you what the voyage is really like.
