@wayfairing3 Yes - they're the same instrument, just the fiddle is played a lot more informally, and of course the type of music is more folksy, rather than classical.

I have always wondered Brien, But Is there any difference than a fiddle or violin or Is It just the same Instrument?I have always called It a Fiddle.lol.God Bless.
