It doen't look better than the DreamCast version, but it does look great! I might be wrong, but it looks as though the Saturn was more powerful than the PlayStation.

Goes to show just how powerful the Saturn is...

@opossimply Obviously, you've never watch the ICO beta footage for PSX

@opossimply Sega did not give out the API to third parties. Tecmo want the only company I heard that cracked the API and got full power out of the Saturn.
Microsoft was the first company to give out API toall third party companies.
Its like GOD of War only Sony could pull that off.

the saturn was more powerful then the PS1 it was super hard to develop on tho!. thats why alot of the games look crappy if u compare Saturn Games made by Sega to Ps1 games made by sony. the Saturn games look better!. the reason why is because sega knew how to utiizlize the potential of the machine they built and developers didnt. R.I.P Saturn. N64 and PS1 Pwned it

That might have been interesting but Sega must have realised that Shenmue was too much for the Sega Saturn. It's a good thing that they decided to make it for the Dreamcast instead.

Oh my god imagin the loading times... on the Saturn! They were like a minute and a half on the Dreamcast the Saturns loading would have been terrible.
-
It doesnt look that bad as i heard
-
if shenmue had begun on the saturn, perhaps we'd have our shenmue 3 already lol

ha ha ha indeed. The Saturn was great, but lets not forget the real facts here
There's something so out-of-place yet mystical in the forest scene with Nozomi and the deer, not to mention that sketchy room with the three stools and wooden door.
And the whole game takes place in 1986.. whoaa.
