You know that dream where you're talking to all of your friends, and then you realize you don't have any clothes on? Terrifying, right? If your clothes are organized and accessible, it will be much easier to get dressed and avoid embarrassing au naturel moments. In this video Lorie Marrero shows you some of her favorite products for organizing clothing and covering your birthday suit more suitably. Even "The Emperor" needed help getting his new clothes put together; so, you should follow this advice to make getting suited up a cinch. These Clutter Video Tips are posted frequently here on our clutterdiet organizing channel. You can search Twitter for #ClutterVideoTip also to find comments on our organizing tips. Hi, I'm Lorie Marrero and today's Clutter Video Tip is about clothing accessories. I'm here at The Container Store in Austin, Texas and I wanted to show you a few of my favorite products that I really enjoy using in almost every closet that I organize. First, wow, what a surprise, look at this great product on the shelf! This is our own product, [POP] the Simple Division Garment Organizers. They help you create sections of clothing for whatever purpose that is for you. So if you're managing clothing sizes, such as for weight gain or weight loss or maternity needs, you can create a section that says "Too Big/Too Small." You also can use these to separate your Capri pants from your regular pants on the hanger, or in a children's closet situation you might have school uniforms that you want to separate from the regular play clothes.
This is a scarf organizer. This is one of my favorite things. It's very thin, fits right in between the clothes [POP] and you can fit lots of scarves in here. It says up to 28 scarves -- I think maybe you can even squeeze in some more if you wanted to. And you have again visibility, like we always say; you want to have visibility to all of your things as a goal of your organizing projects.
Another thing I like is just a simple set of hooks for belts or ties. This is one example, there are many like this. They just hang [POP] right along with your clothing and all of your belts and ties hang there with it. It's very easy to do, is you just pull it down, look at it, get that visibility, and put it right back.
One clothing challenge that people have is [POP] hanging up clothing right out of the dryer when they don't have a lot of hanging space in the laundry room. So this is one option for that. You can hang this on a wall near the dryer or you can hang it on the back of a door. It's up and out of the way when it's not in use. And then you just fold it down, hang whatever you need, and fold it back up when you're done. I also am a fan of over-the-door products because they don't require much for installation. So this one just hooks right over your door and then obviously you can use that to hang things. It doesn't fold up out of the way, but you might not need that.
And finally, another great solution for clothing for the [POP] laundry room area is this collapsible drying rack, also available at The Container Store but I wanted you to see it installed because of the way it pulls out from the wall. It holds, I believe, about 20 or 30 pounds of wet clothing, which is great for your delicate items or your fitness wear that can't go into the dryer. [POP]
If you need very specific product recommendations like this, our expert team has years of experience in the field helping our clients and we know what works and where to buy it. And we can give you advice on this seven days a week in our Member Message Board Area. You can find out more about our program at clutterdiet.com/learnmore.
See you next time, and may you always be happy and grateful for having more than enough.

These are great, but please remind folks that the drying rack only holds 20 to 30 lbs of wet clothing if installed properly otherwise it pulls out leaving giant holes in the wall. thanks

Congrats on having your brand in the Container Store! I will look for it there! Great video as usual. It is always nice to see a "what's new in organizing products" because you never know if what you see might be the perfect solution to your own problem.
