Those who received the most in special interest $'s pushed the hardest- but ultimatly it was each of us that won.

Let the market greed & special interest work themselves out of this mess.

Congress needs to do what they can in eliminating'mark to market'accounting, suspend or eliminate capital gain tax, double FDIC limits & a couple other options that can be considered/discussed to help the citizens.

The oversight written into this bill is: 1)Tresury Seretary 2)Fed Reserve Chair 3)Congress; so imagine the possibilities- Pres. Barak Obama Tres.Sec. Frank Raines Fed.Res.Chair Jim Johnson Spk of the House Pelosi Senate Ldr. Reid Democratic Majorities... Should we hand this group of 'crooked' Socialist $700,000,000,000.00 They are the oversight, therefore only they set restrictions on how to spend these funds or any potential 'return' that we 'might' see in 3-5 yrs. That kinda makes it partisan. Democrats are 'in bed' with financial institutions. Now they are repaying them for all these years of campaign contributions.

To respond- I made no argument against Obama, or it would have been VERY clear ! The argument is about the bailout; if this is 'smart'.

Let me be the first to say that, regardless of my opinion, that you fail to make a very clear argument against obama. the jesse jackson comment seems racially motivated so therefore you lose any credibilty in the very first sentence. come back with a more established argument and i might just support you. i wish you luck.

I've already emailed my house and senate rep from my state asking them to vote against. Dodd should resigned. He is the head of the banking committee and should have been making sure this doesn't happen! Dodd has lined his pockets from Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac and so has Obama and Senator Kerry!

I want to see an independent none government investigation done!

Turning this into a partisan issue is stupid. Deregulation, bad investments, propping up a broken system, and general greed without thought to the value of the dollar is not a partisan issue. Get your head out of the toilet, please.
