I totally agree with everything you said. We know he loves Lulu but it made me mad when he said that no one has ever fought for him like that. :(

Okay, noone has ever fought for him like that? HELLOOOOO what does he think Lulu was trying to do. I think, hope Claudia did a good thing and helped, but Lulu did try to fight for him and I'm afraid that's going to be a problem in the future. He is now going to feel like he owes Claudia forever and will always choose her first. When finally he and Lulu were at a place where that wasn't going to happen anymore.
