@1992Cameron basically, it "squashes" the sound of the bass. you can't really hear it well because of the way it is recorded and the way that he plays, but basically, the quiet parts become louder and the loud parts are limited, so that the bass produces a more "even" sound.

I dont understand, the bass sounds the same with the pedal on and off. What does it do?

i got a better understanding of how to use the pedal from this video. as far as reviews go the audio does no justice to the pedal. i've tried it out at GC before and it sounds great.
