Trust me.
I organise Tours of the film locations used in the 1969 film, The Italian Job and this is part of the opening sequence.

This was such excitement on a motorcycle in April, catching the first tan of spring by spending a week in Italy and Canne for a film convention. The scenery was breathtaking, the gal in back was turning 180 at each switchback to get another camera angle, the snow was hiding the ice, the faceshield would fog at each slowdown, the guardrails in non-neutral countries, and you couldn't even see where you'd finally land without jumping out to look down.

@spacerr St Bernard is both the pass and the dogs bred by the monks living in the monastery visible at 1:15.

As used in the opening credits of the 1969 film.
The Italian Job.

The setting looks similar, but I am almost certain that the alpine pass in the movie was a different one (possibly the Moncenisio that has much steeper cliffs.
