ehhh. i dont see any yaoi here. sure, plenty of people can say its shounen ai, but it all depends on the point of view. me? i personally think they were close friends. for ted, to have a friend was important after 300 years. for tir, i think he didnt have many friends because he was noble born and had quite a few protective people around him.

seriously, its an opening for shoujo ai anime(i think?), but it doesnt mean they were trying to protrey them as gay.

Implication and yaoi are two rather different things.  The characters certainly share a bond, much closer than many characters that pop up in yaoi.
