  • One of the best movies ever. Watch and learn, Hollywood!

  • I have to agree with munin0, no matter how many times I have watched this movie, these 5 min shot are some of the best shooting footage ever shot, with the inclusion of a perfectly matched music as background. This may not be based on reality, but it is a representation of visual perfection. well done Johnny To.

  • My favorite scene, one of my best moment of cinema. Everything is perfect in this scene, Johnie To is the best !!

  • @puffng That's not the point.

  • Johnnie To is the shit!

  • which mall is it?

  • My point is: gunfights don't hv to be realistic at all to be "a gunfight"

I quoted other highly celebrated (yet unrealistic) movies with impossible gunfight scenes to substantiate that point.

I enjoyed this movie a lot. Although it is true that this movie is less known internationally.

  • Are you saying this gunfight is a cinematic achievement of its time? Then how come no one outside of Hong Kong knows about this movie? On the other hand, movies like A Better Tomorrow, Hard Boiled and The Killer are all known even to foreign audiences.

  • Are the gunfights in Equilibrium, Hard-boiled, or the Matrix realistic? No. But are they cinematic achievments of their time? YES

  • i hope johnny do can use more 呂頌賢 in his movies....more new faces is a good thing.

  • its show dealing with the professional, how accuracy the the shooting is if, u re not careful, ur life might gone. in shooting its better to be claimed and steady, it give better result. thts saving ur life.
