Monday Challenge: Decapitation

This week's Film Riot Monday Challenge: Decapitation. We shot this in just over 90 minutes. I'd like to thank my father, mother and brother for helping me shoot this thing. We just had two lights set-up; a construction lamp with a blue filter in front of it and a softbox pointing at the ceiling.

Thank you very much. I did not 'plan' a tutorial on the effect but I could if enough people would want one. It's kind of like an 'extra tutorial' though so I would probably do it when we find the time. Right now we are getting together ideas for the Explosion Challenge and since there are going to be quite a few visual effects in there we're doing a tutorial for that as well.
