The Agri-Business Development Team (ADT) in Nangarhar, meet with local farmers to figure out the best way to stimulate the agricultural development of the region. In this video, they visit a poultry farmer named Noor Agha, who recieved a micro-grant (an amount not to exceed $5,000) from the team to help expand his business, because Mr. Agha is a source of stability and employment for his town.
Quietly excellent story. The visuals flow very nicely and are populated with great sequences of interaction between the US military and the local community. Good on camera conversations speed the piece along (initial stand up with Afghan might have been even sweeter had he turned his body right maybe a quarter more of a turn; still nice composition). A success story very successfully delivered. Thank you for sharing! (and I enjoyed the shots of the McNuggets on the hoof)...
