Ron Veit works with Chris Rawlings during the off-season. Rawlings was invited to several NHL prospect camps this summer. This was his tune up before the prospect camps started. http://www.veitgoaltending.com

  • im gonna sound like a noob, but whats the techno song in the beginning?

this kid....GOD! moves so smoothly, beautiful rebound control, pad slides perfect, doesnt sit int he butterfly uses chest. no goalie is perfect, but he is really good!

  • @maddogmatt44 No worries, the tune is by my buddies Pendulum - Immunize (Feat Liam Howlett from Prodigy).

  • @oddmud Thanks Buddy!

  • @maddogmatt44 No worries...

  • Great speed for his size, but could control his rebounds better.

  • @SUNDIN2012 You're kidding right? All his rebounds were sucked in, or knocked to the corner. What else do you expect?

  • @welkersfan83 Not Marty Brodeur more like Marc-Andre-Fluery

  • this man is going to become the next marty brodeur

  • perfect example on the modern goalie style. good job!

  • Wow and he's 6'5 ....

  • @SUNDIN2012 I didn't think you were supposed to point your toes to the ice in the butterfly. I don't know any goalies that do this, except maybe brodeur. It would probably put more unneeded stress on our hips when you extend to make the save as well.

  • @oddmud he locks his hands when he goes into his block, on the last drill, shots to his high chest area wasn't smothered, in the NHL that will be put in the back of the net every single time. Also he doesn't point his toes to the ice in the butterfly extension, resulting in rebounds of his pad into the slot, Ron also tells him that in the video.
