"If you think you are too small to make a difference in the world, you have never been in a room with a mosquito". That is what I carried with me to the bush in Zambia.
Our team of 12 witnessed the baptism of 15 villagers in the first village we visited. As always, God's power, grace and love flowed abundantly as we saw the Holy Spirit work through all of our hearts, both villagers and missionaries. It never ceases to amaze me how God works in and on our hearts through our service. I always experience that which I give away is what I receive and this experience was no different. As I discipled the villagers to help them grow in Christ, I grew.
At the second village, on our last day, at the last hour, 4 boys from a near village visited us at our campsite. They asked us to share the gospel at their village. They said they heard about what we were doing so they walked 2 hours to meet us. I found the verse from Mathew 9:37 "The harvest is plentiful but the workers are few" to resonate so profusely in the bush of Zambia.
