I don't think any fan has a right to say what a school can and can't claim as tradition. Between the Hedges, Munson, the Arch, Uga, the Battle Hymn, all those are things we Dawg fans hold dear. If you don't like it, just stay out of Athens and you won't have to see it

@jrjones529 I love when that trumpet plays! It gives me chills every time!

@jmwwvu Texas? The National Championship? Where was Georgia while USC was getting beat in the National Championship?
-
@tupacsux Go Colorado! Yes you just got owned...

@ugafan93 Pretty bad when the only thing you can talk about tradition is an announcer lol... But yeah tons of tradition, with the radio guy, a bush (or hedge) that several other stadiums have, oh yeah and iron arch! Tons of National Championships, Tons of Heisman's.. wait that's not Georgia... Not that i'm a USC fan by any means but they sure handle the SEC when they play them so I would just keep my mouth closed.

Wasn't the first Heisman trophy winner a UGA player?

I was at this game. Good memories. Go Dawgs!

hey buddy... all i have to say is go oregon state!!!
and yes you just got owned...

Lets go State
tradition? u wanna talk about tradition in front of the bulldog nation?? what about Larry Munson. what about all of the great things when you go to a GA game that just gives u the chills.
Ofcourse u and ur overrated USC and Pac 10 conference would try to act superior to other conferences. When u play bullshit teams and almost lose to all of them, and lose to stanford
UGA plays alot better teams and blows the shit out of them

This is an incredible tradition. I am in the UT band and REALLY respect UGA's traditions. It gave me chills when I went between the hedges last year and heard that trumpet player.
