Republicans want Obama to approve the Keystone XL pipeline. While Obama remains ambivalent, what are the odds that the President will kill this job creating energy project? Is it possible that Obama might approve Keystone, and score a political coup? Find out what the Trifecta gang thinks.

  • Canada really is our best friend.

  • Among the list of jobs that would be created by Keystone pipeline: 51 dancers and choreographers, 138 dentists, 176 dental hygienists, 100 librarians, 510 bread bakers, 448 clergy, 154 stenographers, 865 hairdressers, 136 manicurists, 110 shampooers, 65 farmers, and (our favorite) 1,714 bartenders.

  • @wiz9496 That's what you inferred. My comments have been about the Constitution and the Cost Effectiveness of building a pipeline from North Dakota instead of Canada. I'm a Libertarian, so I blame both parties for trying to score political points with this Keystone pipeline issue.

2nd. I will never support a foreign Country or Corporation over American interest. Especially since Property Rights haven't been clearly defined as a result of this Multi-State project.

  • i love how these 3 derps use propaganda, it's funny. I doubt the audience even understands why this source is energy is terrible. It takes 3 barrels of clean water to refine 1 barrel of this tar, that's like 400 million barrels of water a Day. The native people of Alberta are shown to have spikes of rare cancers. At Kalamazoo River in Michigan a pipeline spilled million gallons of tar, it was ran by another Canadian company, Enbridge. Energy is more important that clean water and health.

  • @theylied1776 Then we agree. Obama is holding up drilling efforts in our country. This is very stupid as far as I'm concerned. Our economy is suffering, and there's a perfectly good source of oil within our country. It makes no sense.

  • @wiz9496 If the U.S. is to assume the risk, no matter how minimal, for a Multi-State pipeline project; it should be to the benefit of the North Dakota oil fields. In which, the U.S. would reap the Lion's share of the profits. And, not some foreign country.

Besides, there's more than enough demand on the U.S. border, from Maine to Washington State, for the Canadian Oil products. Diesel, Home heating Oil, Kerosene, Propane, Gasoline etc.

  • @SexDrugsFinance Read "Atlas Shrugged."

  • @theylied1776 That's what I thought you were talking about. I think that the risk is minimal because of it being a pipeline. If it were to rupture, we'd just need to shut a valve. It's not the same as it being on a tanker ship. Does the Exxon Valdese or BP in the Gulf bring back any memories?

I'm quite sure that many Americans would rather the oil come from our own country, but with Obama and the Democrat party running things, that will never happen.

  • @wiz9496 Risk meaning: Potential Exposure, Liability, Property or Environmental Damage etc. Dollars meaning: Profit or Total Gain. These are Basic accounting/economic or insurance terms.

Again, if the U.S. is to assume the majority of the risk for this Multi-State pipeline, I'd rather see an American Corp Build it for the North Dakota oil fields, and not for Canada. There would be just as many jobs created.
