In response to classicirons question, 1957 Plymouth Fury's did not come equipped with a hemi engine in 1957. It is not original & was not fitted at the factory. The Fury engine for that year was a 318 with 2x4bbl carbs, 290 hp @ 5400 rpms.

I got a question. I live way up in Northern MN and there's a nice old couple with a buckskin beige 57' fury, but instead of a small block or big block, it has an original HEMI in it. I seen it personally, dual 4's, AC, PS, PB, a "level air" option of some sort, just gorgeous. They claim its orginal, did any 57's come with hemis?
