@chiliwilly39 I agree! Those people don't have any listening skills and they probably can't dance either!

People can say what they want about disco, but you had to be a damn good musician to play this music. Just listen to that Bass line!! Off the chain!!

Thanks for posting, but the beginning got cut off.
Anyway, been searching for the long version of this for some time.

Pretty sure this was the TV version I used to see in the 70's. Totally blown away by Thelma's dance moves....so much so I tried to mimic them on the floor...didn't quite work out. Think this may be the album version-hot n' cookin'

YYYYEEEESSSSS!

Almost two years ago I had an important exam at university and my friends and I were waiting for the results in a cafe, all of us very gloomy.
Then this song suddenly came up and I instantly had a great mood! I didnt even care anymore if I had passed the exam :))) I saw things in perspective again and realized a bad mark or even being thrown out of university wouldnt mean the end of my life... :))
Anyway thats the effect this song has on me! :)

This was, and still is, my all-time favorite "disco" song, and in my opinion, one of the best vocals / recordings from that era. Thanks much.
