It is the largest retailer in the world and competes for the number one spot on the Fortune 500 list every year. It is run by 6 of the richest people in the world, who control more wealth than the bottom 42% of Americans combined, so not just a store. Cheap and easy isn't all that communities need, we also need good jobs that allow us to have spending money, take care of our kids, pay rent, feed ourselves and our families, etc. Walmart can do better.

And I highly doubt you're a real person. Just because you are posting comments on youtube doesn't mean that you're a real person and not just a spam bot created by Walmart. If you posted a picture of yourself and your ID and social security number I'd believe you.

I highly doubt they are workers just because they were the colors does not mean they work for walmart. if they wore name badges then I would believe it.

There are hundreds of workers on strike right now who traveled to the Walmart shareholders meeting in Bentonville who want support from the company and aren't getting it. And they trumpet their very limited community outreach and support whenever they get the chance through press releases, advertising campaigns, and social media. Those people want to make their jobs better, there isn't anything wrong with that.

Walmart exploits their work force both in the United States and abroad, squeezes suppliers into lowering standards, and then sells cheap goods at a huge profit that it funnels into the hands of the Waltons and its top executives. People do want low prices, but they also care about how a company treats their employees and the community, exposing the truth behind Walmarts business model so consumers can hold them accountable is a good thing.

Walmart should negotiate standards if they want to enter markets that have higher standards. In DC, we don't just sit back and let workers be mistreated, under paid, and disrespected. If you want good jobs, you fight for them. Its not a right, but its also not Walmart, or any companies right to come in and provide low wage, dead end jobs, without anyone fighting for something better. Accepting the race to the bottom Walmart is trying to force us to run would be stupid.

I didn't see anyone in the video being disrespectful. What are you referring to?

They do and if they don't its because the worker didn't want it. They have many outreach programs and they help communities in many ways they just dont broadcast it for the entire world they don't need the pat on the back like most corporations. They are active in communities, schools, associate in critical needs donations. Not to mention these people now have jobs.
