is there a lot of toilet humor in this movie? I just don't find that kind of humor funny

i saw it, it made me feel awful, but in some parts i was laughing! i would give the 2 stars out of 5, in the end, it made me feel crummy! :'(

this movie taught me that friends like mary and max are hard to come back in this sometimes vile world we live in

the part where she says "i don't have any friends can you help me" when i was young i didn't have many friends none at all really and i would go through the same exact things as her.!

JUst watched this movie and found it so touching... Sadly, it's one of the most underrated films ever, cause I haven't heard about this movie to this day... It tells a story about life, and how you should never give up even at worst of times.

II happened to stumble across this film while channel flicking on Australian television. I'm so glad i found it. This touched my heart and i cried with both sorrow, sympathy and joy at the end. Just beautiful.
