The Siege of Quebec and the subsequent Battle of the Plains of Abraham was the turning point of the French and Indian War (1754 1763). It cemented British rule in Canada and made General James Wolfe a hero. Yet the valour of the French, pitted against almost impossible odds, is often overlooked. This video presents the facts of that brief but momentous clash on the morning of the 12th of September, 1759.
