Nick: Huh? *putting ice pack on Demis head*
Demi: Nothing. *sits up*
Nick: You were hit by the ball and became unconscious.
Demi: *hold the ice pack* Oww.
Nick: Does it still hurt? Its all my fault. I shouldnt have let you go to the court. *worried*
Demi: Its not your fault. Im okay. *smiles*
Nicks: *smiles* Ill go to my room now. Call me if you need anything.
Demi: Goodnight.
Nick: Goodnight. *kisses Demis head*

-- the other day --

*on the phone*
Demi: Selena!
Selena: Demi!
Demi and Selena: How are you? I miss you!
*both laugh*
Demi: I miss you so much!
Selena: Me too! So, hows LA?
Demi: Its ok. Im still adjusting. Thank god Nicholas is here.
Selena: Your brother?
[a/n: Selena and Nick did not have a chance to meet in Geneva because when Nick visited Demi, Selena is on an out-of-town trip.]
Demi: Yup.
Selena: Why are you still calling him Nicholas? Why not Nick?
Demi: *giggles* I love calling him Nicholas and Im the only one who calls him that. Isnt it cute?
Selena: *laughs* Youre weird.
Demi: I know thats why were friends. Birds of the same feather flock together. *laughs*
Selena: So, when are you going to school?
Demi: Classes start in three days.
Selena: I heard its the best school in LA and their basketball team is number one.
Demi: Yeah. Wait, how did you know that?
Selena: Uhhmmm. . . I gotta go Dems, my mom called me. Bye! *hangs up*
Demi: Bye. *confused*

*Selenas house*
SM: Selena, were going to be late.
Selena: Im coming. *runs downstairs*
SM: Youve got all your stuffs?
Selena: Yup.*checks her things* Wait, I forgot my jacket.
SM: Ill just wait for you in the car. *goes out*
Selena: *gets the jacket*

*Demis room*
Demi: *looking at the picture of her and her dad*
Nick: *knocks* Demi, can I come in?
Demi: Sure.
Nick: *comes in and sits beside Demi* You miss him?
Demi: Very much. *tears fall* Can I ask you a question?
Nick: What is it?
Demi: Are you mad because Dad took me? *looks at him*
Nick: Do you want to know the truth?
Demi: *nods*
Nick: *sighs* At first I was mad because he left mom and she took you. .
Demi: *looks down*
Nick: *saw her look down* But then I realized that its the best for us.
Demi: *confused*
Nick: Its better for mom and dad to separate than to fight everyday. You know I cant stand all that drama. *smiles*
Demi: *smiles*
Nick: *wipes Demis tear* Stop crying. I dont want to see my baby sister crying.
Demi: Baby sister?
Nick: Yes.
Demi: Nicholas were twins.
Nick: I know but Im 10 minutes older than you. *laughs and about to go out*
Demi: Nicholas?
Nick: *turns around* Yeah?
Demi: Dad loves you. You know that, right?
Nick: *smiles* I know. Come on, dinner is ready.
Demi: *smiles and goes out*

*Selenas house*
SM: Were here!
Selena: *goes to her room to unpack*
*after 20 mins*
Selena: Mom, Im finished. Can I go out now?
SM: *shocked* Whats with the wig? Why are you wearing that?
Selena: Nothing. Can I go now? *in a hurry*
SM: Ok. Take care.
Selena: Bye! *shuts the door*
SM: Kids. *laughs*

-- Demi and Nicks house --

*doorbell*
Demi: Ill get it! *opens the door*
???: DDEEEMMIII!!!! *hugs Demi*
Demi: *shocked* . . .
