Back Squats 170kg,
Done after 3 sets of clean pulls with 155kg (Each set, 1 from floor, 2 from below knee)

  • it's not that deep squats like this damage your knee's, it is that some people like myself already suffer from knee problems so parallel works just fine for me and others that cannot go quite that deep without pain, to each there own, great job!

  • @jakegiles2 : Thank you and you are right on. Have you tried lifting with shoes that have a bit of an elevated heel? Seems to make squatting deeper (whatever your depth) seem easier. Good luck.

  • @LevskiSofiaSS : There were flags from all over in the gym.I suspect because the Bulgarians are beasts in Olympic weightlifting.

  • Are your knee F'ed up from going so low??

  • @jaredispoop: No, they are actually quite fine. The key is keeping the weight on your heels throughout the lift.  Also, I am wearing Oly shoes with have a higher heel. This makes it easier to squat deeper.
