All this good stuff and yet people are still replacing these with straight pipes or gutting them. It is sad that the common meaning of "high performance catalytic converter" adds an implied "engine" after "high". A true high performance cat is one that does its job well, IE as little HC, NOx and CO gets through as possible.
I know people who say "They don't do anything (that I care about) anyway." Once again the part in parenthesis is not said but I am sure was implied.
