  • I have the big buddy, it was a rip off. The plastics fell apart in the first season, and I have had all kinds of problems with the thing. Huge disappointment. If my company built such poor quality products, we would have went out of business a long time ago. It is also not possible to submit comments on their website. I hate this product, it was the worst investment I have ever made. DO NOT buy one of these products if you expect it to work more than one season.

  • I have the exact heater. It works great and I love the fan idea as it pushes more heat around the area than does just the heater itself, however it can be used without the fan which is good too in case you forget batteries or they run down. The other nice thing is you can connect it to the bulk propane tanks with a hose, plus they have an AC adapter available too for the fan. Great little heaters, and they heat up a descent space very quickly even in frigid temperatures.

  • @Harleybum Doubt it comes with the extra Vag accessory, but if IT keeps you toasty warm like a fat Eskimo on a snowy frigid night, yeah I'd call it a she too...

  • thats actually the "buddy" the little buddy is half the btu and takes only one tank, it also doesnt have the fan. Thats the model I have

  • @Eurotrash4367

It can connect to a 20 pound tank via hose.

  • I have this heater. I like it but it sucks down propane quickly. Ive found the most efficent way to use this is on the low or med. setting with the fan on. Two full cylinders will give you about 8 hrs. on low/6-7 on med. You may get 5 hrs. on the high setting if your lucky. By the way, the condensation in your van isn't from the propane, it's from the moisture you are exhaling cooling down and condensing as it comes in contact with the cold glass windows.

  • I think this is the Big Buddy, not the Little Buddy. It has dual ceramic tiles and uses two tanks. The little buddy has just one ceramic tile and takes one tank.

  • Good review but I'm concerned about that red gas can so close to the heater...yikes!

  • SHE??? does that thing have a Vagina? Thats a "It".....

  • That's the Big Buddy and I bought mine new and on sale for $100.00. I also bought the regular one as a backup on sale for $70.00.

If you live in cold climes and do not have a backup heat source to gas and electric such as kerosene or propane, you are screwed...
