@ykgday Bernard Lagat is kenyan but became an American Citizen. In some of his early races, he is listed as kenyan
-
@JoshMcRay Thats a slow pace even for a 10k
-
Lagat is not American...

I like how the "complete" coverage shows one minute of the entire race. That's some real dedication to distance running... It's the same way with the NCAA championships. If I'm tuning in to watch a 3K, I WANT to see the middle of the race. That's what makes it a 3K and not a sprinting event. They have an event that's 200m long, and if I only cared about the last half lap I'd be watching that instead

@ozilkroosmarin So do I.

i wish i could be nearly as good as bekele.
-
@ericschmidt007 lol first non african
-
bekele is best
-
25.48 last 200? That's nasty.

chaldoballin- you are right and wrong, Yes from Qatar, just like Lagat, you are taking credit for a man Born and raise in Kenya who only runs for Qatar. Chris Solinsky is the first not born and raised in Africa.
@lamrof his name is Chris Solinsky...He's Americas. Runs for Nike. Just broke 27 min in the 10k. First non-African to do so.
