http://www.FTV.com/videos PARIS - While Zuhair Murad knows how to make a beautiful gown elegant and refined, with the most intricate details in the design, embroidery, and beading, there's something about his haute couture collection that seems power woman rather than mere sophistication. Of course, that sophistication is not lost, only enhanced by the curves on the silhouette (tight like Versace) and the beads and graphic prints on the gown that only enhances a woman's frame as it tightly forms around the body. There's something overtly sexual, but quite powerful here. Even the wedding dress in the end, as modeled by Maud Welzen, is not long and flowing but tightly fit to the body with gold accents and embroidery that hit at every part. It's been said that the muse for this collection is Sharon Stone from the movie Casino, but other inspirations include Las Vegas and the 80s.
