Microsoft at E3 2011 - 3 min recap! "...through the magic of kinect"

I know I know.. during E3, my fangirl really shows. For the record, I do have an Xbox and I do love it and use it often. I want Microsoft to do well! But I have a huge grudge against Kinect and pretty much flat-out refuse to purchase it, especially for $100+. And considering a LARGE portion of Microsoft's E3 press conference was spent showing off only the Kinect features in a bunch of new games, I was an unhappy camper. As long as all (well, most) of the games they showed come with a controller option, they've actually got a pretty decent lineup of games. And I'll admit, the prospect of all the stuff that can emerge from Kinect Labs is exciting. All in all though, I just wish that Microsoft wasn't pushing Kinect so hard. In games like Ghost Recon the implementation just looked forced and uncomfortable.

Disclaimer: I realize that Modern Warfare 3 isn't a 'generic FPS shooter in the water'.
I know what they meant by "a new trilogy" (although I think it's terribly worded for the fourth game in a series.)
I think some of kinect's features and its role in SOME games is pretty good. Still not getting it.
