  • Wow. I envy U :)

  • How do you mount the guy wire anchors in? Well, what is the proper way?

  • Great video. I watched all 3 parts. I had no idea that the foundation required 9 yds. of cement ! I've poured 125 yards around my house and that was a lot of work. I'm rethinking now of what i want to install for a tower. After watching your video I'm not so sure anymore. Great job on re-rod and pouring of concrete. You might change antennas over the years but the tower and base will be there forever. 73's K1KAP

  • Great vid. I've had the TX-455 for years and it's a great tower. After listening to the wife gritch about bad WX when I'm away, I decided to motorize it. I had an aluminum plate welded up to hold a Harbor Freight 1300# Engine Hoist (2954-0VGA) @ $129.99. I now raise and lower the tower for a cost of less than $225! I recently decided to purchase a KT-36XA also and am waiting for the Florida WX to cool down a bit before building and installing it. Good luck with the installation. 73.

  • Very good tower and antenna, been waiting to see the end result...well worth the wait!
