Well, then why not make it illegal to get drunk, to commit adultery, to fornicate, to be a glutton, to worship idols and gods, to lust, to be an atheist, to be lazy, to be greedy, to covet, to eat blood, to partake in false doctrines and false worship, to gamble, to be vain, and to be jealous? Why not make the seven deadly sin's illegal? They're worst than homosexuality, right? You know, it is possible to be a child of God and tolerate gay 'marriage'.

Obviously, to allow gays to marry one another is not to divorce society from God; this is not a theocracy. America was not built on religious nationalism, but civic nationalism. There should be no establishment of religion. Just because you allow gays to marry, it does not change the fact that they are already homosexual and that they are already going against Christianity. It does not alter Christian teachings and nor does it impede on anyone's rights to freedom of religion.
