  • saw the colbert report the other night with Goat Rodeo Sessions and checked out the youtube stuff on them. noticed a woman singing and decided to find out who she was.. Crooked Still, you indirectly got a "colbert bump", and you have another fan.

  • Rushad is awesome. He has melded the cello with some unconventional genres.

  • @VioletGiraffe just didn't do it for me--they are either a clone or just copy good

  • @iceaxe56

This isn't a girl bluegrass group, so yeah, it's just you, IMO :) Check other Crooked Still videos, there's a chance you won't regret it.

  • do all these girl bluegrass groups sound the same or is it just me

  • My friend recently died, and I really was just searching for a song to ease the pain.

This one uplifted me, a shone a little light in the darkness.

    Beautiful..

  • @waltavoc Crazy enough, but I just found Sarah Jarosz tonight and it brought me here. Both of them together at a show would make for one spiritually uplifting evening. Euphoric mood I would imagine.

  • @Hydrometers Yeah...I was just thinking he was kind of doing a gypsy bluegrass cello kind of thing...and it goes good with the kind voice kind of thing Aoife.

  • Soul satisfying musak,

  • That is remarkable music.Discovered your band this morning. I hope you can organise a tour of Australia at your earliest convenience and bring Sarah Jarosz with you all too.

  • Extraordinarily beautiful!

  • That is Rushad Eggelston on cello.

He was the original cellist. Tristan took over when Rushad left.
