Guiding three guides form Alaska, we fished the sand two days after a mild cold front, and discovered that there were literally thousands of redfish on the sand in schools of 10-200. The video begins with a school of 150-200 reds swimming right up to me as I videoed their approach. It was quite windy, but it didn't interfere with our fly fishing. As you can see, the sand of the Lower Laguna Madre is gin clear on a reasonably windy day. Come see me at www.lagunamadreflyfishing.com.

  • Hey Dr can you drift this area with live shrimp? Or do you recommend just wading this area?

  • Yeh, we all forget to be careful until it's too late. I did and paid mightily. But when you're hooked up, it's easy to feel bulletproof.

  • What happened to doing the stingray shuffle haha.

  • where can I catch redfish in shallow water at freeport?

  • hey is this in texas or in alaska?
