  • @thesnowman6890 I baby the crank over, I can't see how a starter would explain the choppy idle between 0:20-0:23

  • i think its your starter

  • @sandrochatlos1 I would appreciate it, I have a few videos from before I started modifying the inside but they are not online. Message me your email and I will send them to you.

  • @pinkfloydeffect

I will have my friend take a look at your video this weekend. He is coming over to help me install glasspack y-pipe duals on my truck. He knows everything about engines, almost any question you ask him, he has the answer to. also please tell me that you still have your door buzzer, if you do and dont want it please send it my way, haha, could you make a video of the inside of your truck when you have time..

  • @sandrochatlos1 Ever since I have owned it which has been about 4 months, it does it cold or warm but worse when cold. You have to give it a quick crank, turn back, then it always starts on the second quick crank. If you crank it for more then 1 second the first time then it wont start the second, third or fourth time lol.

  • I have a service manual for the 1988 dakota as i have one myself. same engine. how long has it been doing this, what was the temp outside?
