@freeclimb64 I now own an 1198s and really happy with the handling. Done a trackday too, so i've really experienced what she can do. I will say there is a noticeable difference and that being the fact that one model feels lighter to turn due to the lighterweight wheels. The ohlins do feel better but I wouldn't say the forks matter as much as the wheels. I also think the wsb/bsb control tyre is amazing, considering my bike has the same rubber as the race teams. Crazily sticky, even at road speed

I stopped accelerating my1098S Tricolore at 279 km/h (174mph),
there was enough power left to go for 300 and more.
AND: 190kg related to 125 kW, enormous torque, what japanese bike can stand that?
...Zero????

I do own a 2007´ 1098S Tricolore.
For beginners - there is no difference between 1098 and 1098s.
The difference comes, if you go for extremes.
No one, including you, try that extreme handling in street.

I've rode a 1098 and a 1198s, The 1198s handing was much better than the standard 1098, would the 1098 s version handle as good as the 1198s as I'm considering buying a 1098s.
