This palm is commonly known as Taraw palm,Serdang Palm. This palm is seen throughout southeast Asia. And very common to Thailand. And these palms produce really blue fruits which are very beautiful.Taraw palm grows to forty feet (12 m) in height and prefers moist soil. It has spines along the leaf fronds which resemble shark teeth.
