No he isn't stupid. He had a man taking the video and had a microphone. It should have been abundantly clear to everyone that they were being tested. None of them had any idea what the value of gold was and it is just about unforgivable that these folks are so ignorant of the world they live in. But, I'll bet you $1100 that each of them could rattle on for hours about meaningless pop culture and entertainment.
