I laugh at how people are like "OMG an Earthquake in England?", despite the fact that we have had 16 earthquakes in just the 21st century alone. 1 in 2000, 1 in 2001, 2 in 2002, 1 in 2006, 1 in 2007, 2 in 2008, 5 in 2009 and another 3 in 2010. The most recent earthquake in the UK was in Birmingham exactly 1 week ago today, however it was a weakish earthquake. The most intense Earthquake recorded in the UK was on June 7, 1931, which measured 6.1. The February 27, 2008 is the 16th most intense.
