@moonlily1 : Pam Ravenscroft was her original name in the books. In the books she was only 19 years old and turned some time during the Victorian Era (1837–1901) possibly near the end of the century. In the TV show they made her 40-ish and younger and then older than Civil War Era Bill Compton.

Pam Ravenscroft? But on the series finale the lawyer drawing up eric's will said her name was Pamela Swynford de Beaumont. Where did 'Ravenscroft' come from?
