Lorryanne, Listen To the Heartbeat, Shadows of the Night?
If there was justice, this guy'd sell more records than Michael Jackson. His album "Exploding Plastic Inevitable" was a masterwork too.

DL is GREAT!!!

He did a cover version of "You Can't hurry Love" on the Times Square soundtrack and it was really good. I wish that was available on CD. My vinyl copy is pretty bad.

Saw DL Byron back up The Boomtown Rats in Detroit in 1980 and we were shocked how much we liked him. Went out and found his album and never understood why he wasnt more popular

I saw them on that same tour at the Tower Theater in Philly. D. L. Byron was so fantastic that I figured there was no way the Boomtown Rats could even take the stage afterwards. Then they came on and opened with Wind Chill Factor Minus Zero and blew the crowd away. Best concert I've ever seen by two bands who deserved much greater success.

coneddie, you are truly my hero. Thank you, Thank you and Thank you for posting this. I never even knew such a thing existed. One of the greatest lp's barely anyone knows. A true shame. Though you probably know this, DL has an entire concert of him live on his site, I listen to that cd at least once a week, it's like being there. Thanks again!
