I think the process in obtaining permits to protest should just be made more transparent, and more clear definitions be made about "free speech" areas. Both sides made mistakes in regards to the arrests earlier this month.
Also, SGA really needs to step up and act as a voice for the occupy students. SGA should be going to these students as SGA is in the perfect position to bring concerns from the students to FIU...which is what SGA is meant to do.
