if they bought back intercity i'd start using the trains again then i know my money would get put into the railways instead of some fatcats pocket.

Mate I was in exactly the same boat - I'd been looking without hope for ages and ages then one day in the summer I was watching The Truman Show (which generally has a great soundtrack) and suddenly my ears pricked up towards the end - it sounded familiar and then I realized it was the music from the Intercity adverts. Ran upstairs to Itunes, looked up the sound track and there it was!
Glad you've found it - while you're at it join the campaign to Bring Back British Rail..

You Sir, are God. ive been looking for the name of this piece of music for ten years, I first heard the music when I was 8. I would say I love you but that would be going abit too far... :p

Does anyone know what the tune this is, please? It's driving me barmy - after humming it at work all day I've tracked it down to this Intercity ad, but I can't find any reference to it anywhere else. I presume it's from a film? Thanks in advance.
