Love your video! I can totally relate to everything you said. I notice Hillcrest in one of your credits. Are you in Oklahoma? I am as well and I have just been diagnosed with CM1.

thank you for sharing your story. I was recently diagnosed with CM. I then moved right after and have not been seen by any dr. I have been very careful with whom and how much info I share about it. Your post explains it so beautifully. Thank You for giving me an encouraging side of CM, it has been very draining to research on my own, and very depressing as well. I love the approach you take to fight!
I too have Chiari. I diagnosed in Frb 2010 and had decompression May 6th 2011. Suffered through 6 mts of PT then I was told that my surgery was a fail at relievein my symptoms. I have and appointment for another MRI in the middle on Nove. My dr things I might be dealing with another brain stem tumor. Chiari taks alot from us. The trick is learning to live with what we have left. God bless you hun and thanks for sharing your story :)

@URCNFUN You are so brave, you have been through so much. Chiari does take a lot from us and the best thing we can do is not let it own us completely. Everyday I am up early, off to work as I need a distraction from the pain. I admire you for your Courage and Strength and I hope and pray that you don't have another brain stem tumour. You have been through enough already. God bless you!!!

I hope by now you have more information on the extent of your CM. I only hope that my chiari never requires surgery for many reasons. It helps to talk about what you are going through. Anxiety and Depression has taken control of me over the past few months and I needed to pull myself together before things got harder for me. If you are in the USA you have a fantastic support system, CM is rare in Australia. Good luck in your Journey!!

I had an MRI of my cervical spine and the radiologist mentioned a Chiari Syndrome. I do have tingling in my thumb and two fingers and constant pressure on my neck. If you have any information let me know

@Craig1168 You really need to have a MRI of your brain to determine the size of the chiari distention. Your Neurologist should be able to order this for you. When I saw my Neurologist he did not believe that tingling down my left side was from Chiari. He does not know enough about Chiari, it has many symptoms. Good luck, the hardest part is finding answers that satisfy you, as Chiari sufferers have many challenges in life.
