@austindeath ya addictive drums killed me with this mapping its like 77 for the crash 59 for high hat pedal 60 for the ride everything is different there and i dont know i might just do the next song using cakewalk native instruments it suits the song better somehow ! thnx again bro
Love the video but how can you record the separate tracks?
theres no arm button for them. id like to record each track at once but cant figure out how to record ezdrummer without it being the last track and everything together. Help Please?!!

@Dumbstruck: Well... that's a good question. The only way I know how to do that is solo each individual drum & record them separately. This method is a little time consuming so I'd recommend doing it after you have a whole album's worth of drums sequenced on your Master Bus. EZdrummer wasn't really designed to record tracks separately. They want you to do all your EQ & VST Plugins on separate tracks & then record it all in one mix. Hope this helps.

@SonarGuyNC I appreciate the response. Ive been trying to figure it out for a long time. Im considering using another drum program or getting Pro Tools 8. Ive seen a video that pro tools can record the tracks seperately. was hoping sonar could do it but I dont believe that is the case

@Dumbstruck: No prob. Just curious... why do you want to record the tracks separately anyway? You can mix & apply VST plugins, etc. from Sonar's console. It's really the same thing unless you need separate audio tracks for something else.

@SonarGuyNC Well ive been recording for years and my brother has an electric drumset. and for me to do some kind of professional recording, I need his drum tracks separate so I can properly edit them. EZdrummer already sounds amazing alone but I prefer to get more in depth and really work at a great sounding recording.

@Dumbstruck: Dude... I told you totally wrong. Sorry about that! It was 5am & I'd been up all night tracking. What you wanna do is this. Create a new audio track for every drum & change the input on that audio track to EZdrummer 1, 2, 3, etc. So the first track would be EZdrummer 1 (Kick) 2nd EZdrummer 2 (Snare) etc. You see what I mean? Then all you have to do is record the drums like normal & you should have all the drums in audio format on separate tracks. Hope this helps.
