Ehmmz.. ok nice tip.. Wouldnt steering left and right wile descending not be better?

But!

1st kiter would have crashed even harder into the woods behind there. and maybe would go to fast and break his legs.

2nd kiter would have gone even further down the mountain making his height even worse. And as you can see he got lifted by a gusts because he's tumbeling down very fast after the lift.

Atleast someone is thinking about stuff like this.

doesnt happen on newer style kites. can mainly be avoided by sheeting out.

@w0mbhanger Considering your statement that "in water you will not go down with a kiteloop" (and not only, the others too) it is clear that your kiteboarding experience is very limited.

I suggest you to try this:

google " advanced techniques to bail out of air loft " and you will find the kiteforum thread.

There you can find more arguments, links, etc. Please read carefully, and if you have any comments, feel free to post it there. I'll answer you as soon as possible.
